MakeMyTrip and Adani One ICICI cards: lounge access now needs ₹75,000 spend a quarter
From 1 July 2026 the MakeMyTrip ICICI Bank card and both Adani One ICICI cards (Signature and Platinum) follow the same rule as other ICICI cards: complimentary airport lounge access only if you spent ₹75,000 in the previous calendar quarter. These co-brands previously had no spend condition. Times Black and the Emeralde family stay unconditional.
- DevaluationIndusInd Bank
IndusInd links lounge access to quarterly spend (₹1.5L, ₹5L on premium cards)
IndusInd Bank announced on 1 April 2026 that complimentary domestic lounge visits become spend-linked, with the benefit applying from July 2026: ₹5 lakh spend in the previous quarter on premium cards such as Pinnacle, ₹1.5 lakh on other variants. CardLens now applies that gate when it counts usable lounge visits.
- DevaluationAxis Bank
Airtel Axis Bank card: Swiggy and BigBasket cashback dropped, lounge visits withdrawn
From 12 April 2026 the 10% bucket covers Zomato, Blinkit and District instead of Swiggy, Zomato and BigBasket, category caps unlock only after a base level of spend, and the four complimentary domestic lounge visits a year are discontinued. The 25% on Airtel bills and 10% on utilities via Airtel Thanks continue with their caps.
- DevaluationSBI Card
CASHBACK SBI Card: 5% online cashback capped at ₹2,000 a month, new exclusions
From 1 April 2026 the 5% on online spends is capped at ₹2,000 per statement cycle (down from ₹5,000), the 1% on offline spends at ₹2,000, and total cashback at ₹4,000 a cycle. Digital gaming platforms (MCC 7993, 7994, 5816), tolls (4784) and government transactions (9222, 9311, 9402) no longer earn cashback, on top of the existing rent, fuel, utility, insurance and education exclusions.
- Policy changeSBI Card
SBI Card reward points: statement-credit redemption in blocks of 4,000, max 60,000 a month
Reward points on SBI cards can be redeemed as statement credit only in multiples of 4,000 points and up to 60,000 points per card per calendar month. Small balances therefore sit unredeemed for longer; the realistic point value CardLens uses is unchanged.

From 1 April 2026 HDFC Bank expects Infinia holders to either spend ₹18 lakh a year across primary and add-on cards or hold ₹50 lakh total relationship value with the bank; accounts below both thresholds may be downgraded. Earn rates, SmartBuy multipliers and transfer ratios were not cut in this notice. HDFC has not published the segment-wise treatment, so treat downgrade reports as unconfirmed.
