CASHBACK SBI Card: 5% online cashback capped at ₹2,000 a month, new exclusions
From 1 April 2026 the 5% on online spends is capped at ₹2,000 per statement cycle (down from ₹5,000), the 1% on offline spends at ₹2,000, and total cashback at ₹4,000 a cycle. Digital gaming platforms (MCC 7993, 7994, 5816), tolls (4784) and government transactions (9222, 9311, 9402) no longer earn cashback, on top of the existing rent, fuel, utility, insurance and education exclusions.

SBI Card reward points: statement-credit redemption in blocks of 4,000, max 60,000 a month
Reward points on SBI cards can be redeemed as statement credit only in multiples of 4,000 points and up to 60,000 points per card per calendar month. Small balances therefore sit unredeemed for longer; the realistic point value CardLens uses is unchanged.
